我们提出了来自95平方度的Herschel多层河外星系巡天中的13个候选引力透镜亚毫米星系(SMGs)列表,面密度为0.14\pm0.04deg^{-2}。所选源的500um通量密度(S_500)大于100mJy。在13个系统中的9个(70%)中,后续观测证实了引力透镜效应,其余四个源的透镜状态尚未确定。我们还提出了一个包含29个(0.31\pm0.06deg^{-2})引力透镜SMG候选源的补充样本,其S_500=80--100mJy,预计其中混入源的比例高于主候选样本。候选透镜星系的数计数与一个简单的透镜率统计模型一致,该模型使用了前景物质分布、内禀SMG数计数以及假定的SMG红移分布。该模型预测我们S_500>100mJy候选源中的32--74%被强引力透镜化(mu>2),其中最亮的源最为可靠;这与观测数据一致。我们的统计模型还预测,平均而言,S_500=100mJy的透镜星系被放大约9倍,由于内禀数计数的形状,表观更亮的星系具有逐渐更高的平均放大率。预计65%的源具有小于30mJy的内禀500micron通量密度。因此,像本文提出的强引力透镜SMG样本,探测了500 micron低于Herschel标称探测极限的范围。由于透镜放大效应,它们是详细研究遥远尘埃星暴星系物理条件的好目标,这可以在源平面实现约0.01"的空间分辨率。
