QGP中通过软QCD散射的重夸克能量损失

摘要
在RHIC上观察到Au+Au碰撞中非光子电子的强烈抑制。这与能量损失主要通过胶子辐射的预期主导地位不符，后者由于死锥效应预测重味夸克的抑制要弱得多。然而，碰撞能量损失也很重要，正如最近软色相互作用喷注淬灭模型所展示的那样。基于该模型，我们表明粲夸克的碰撞能量损失给出了观测到的电子抑制幅度，但来自底夸克衰变的贡献（在中等和大的pT下占主导）导致整体的电子抑制比观测到的要弱一些。
