利用 LHC 高亮度固定靶实验的重味研究

摘要

利用弯晶提取多 TeV 质子与铅 LHC 束流,或使用内部气体靶,可进行史上最高能的固定靶实验。pp、pd 与 pA 碰撞在 √s = 115 GeV,Pbp 与 PbA 碰撞在 √s_NN = 72 GeV,可在宽快度范围内以高精度与现代探测技术研究。以固定靶模式使用 LHCb 或 ALICE 探测器,提供了在 SPS 与标称 RHIC 能量之间中途的新能域访问重味产生的空前可能。本报告中,综述了利用两种探测器装置配合多种核靶与 LHC 铅束的夸克偶素与开放粲、美产生的投影研究。
