本地宇宙中的重度遮蔽活动星系核

摘要

我们提出了一种通过结合红外(Spitzer、IRAS)和X射线(XMM)信息来在本地宇宙中选择重度遮蔽活动星系核的强有力诊断图。基于该图,我们从2XMM星表中选取了一组X射线遮蔽源,并发现了七个新发现的康普顿厚活动星系核候选体。
