HD 137510：棕色矿星沙漠中的一座绿洠

自精密 Doppler 观测开展以来，这类观测在发现系外行星伴侣方面取得了惊人的成功，但随之浮现的的一个意外之谜是：在光谱双星中，次级质量位于恒星质量与行星质量之间之际的现象极其稀少。对于距离日系恒星较近（距离 < 3-4 AU）的伴侣而言，质量函数中存在的一个空档，通常被称为“棕色矿星沙漠”。本文报道了对 HD 137510（G0IV 型）系的伴侣检测结果，其最小质量为 26 木星质量，沿着偏心轨道（e=0.4）运行，周期为 798 天，轨道半长轴为 1.85 AU。该检测基于由麦克尔顿天文台和德国Thueringer Landessternwarte Tautenburg 行星搜索项目获取的精密差分径向速度（RV）数据。
