CLEO 实验中的粲和 beauty 强子衰变

摘要

展示了来自 CLEO 实验的粲和 beauty 强子衰变的一系列最新结果。我们报告了 B 衰变中存在末态相互作用的初步证据,以及首次观测到衰变 B⁰ → D*⁺D*⁻,其分支比为 (6.2⁺⁴·⁰₋₂·₉ ± 1.0) × 10⁻⁴。我们还展示了首次观测到的宽 J^P = 1⁺ 粲介子共振态的初步结果,其质量为 2.461⁺⁰·⁰⁴¹₋₀·₀₃₄ ± 0.010 ± 0.032 GeV,宽度为 290⁺¹⁰¹₋₇₉ ± 26 ± 36 MeV,以及 B⁻ → D_J⁰π⁻ 衰变的分支比测量结果。最后,我们报告了对自旋 1 粲介子径向激发态 D*'⁺ 的搜索,以及对 (D⁰ → K⁺π⁻)/(D⁰ → K⁻π⁺) 衰变率比值的改进测量。

A modified version of this paper was published in the proceedings of the "Workshop on Heavy Quarks at Fixes Targets" held at FermiLab on October 10 through the 12, 1998. This version includes a correction to the value of the B->D*+D*- branching fraction and two figures were added to the section on the D*' analysis. Also, an error in the reported statistical error of the mass of the broad D_J resonance was corrected. The reported value in the previous version of this paper was a factor of 10 larger than the measured value
