H2O 巨型测射源:吸积盘、喷流相互作用、外流抑制还是巨型星际形成?

摘要

25 年来,自巧合发现 H2_2O 巨型测射源以来,已在研究强光 extragalactic H2_2O 发射方面取得了巨大进展。单望户监测和高分辨率干涉测量被用于识别巨型星际形成的场所、研究核喷流与稠密分子气体的相互作用,以及探讨活动性星系 (AGN) 的核环境。映射出半径为 0.1--3 pc 的吸积盘,并确定核引擎质量为 10610^{6}--10810^{8} M_{\odot}。目前已检测到约 50 个外星系 H2_2O 测射源,但鲜有者被详细研究。
