本报告简要回顾了2024年母亲节超级暴 storm及其对近地空间环境和地面效应的影响，特别强调后者。我们依据来自多个来源的观测，定性地说明了强烈的空间天气扰动如何产生强大的地电场并驱动显著的地磁感应电流，特别是在新西兰电力网中所报告的众多位置。
