摘要
LIGO/Virgo 合作组对引力波(GW)的探测为物理学和天文学提供了多种可能性。我们相当确信,由于持续改进探测器的不懈努力,包括对新加入的探测器 KAGRA 以及计划中的探测器 LIGO-India 的期待,引力波观测无论在精度还是数量上都将取得长足发展。借此机会,我们综述引力波物理与天文学的基本成果与前景。我们围绕引力波的代表性源——双黑洞、双中子星和超新星——考察其发展。我们还总结了引力波观测作为新物理探测手段的作用。
