摘要
星系团的数值模拟为追踪这些系统动力学提供了独特方式。模型揭示了子团簇合并过程的许多特征：冲击结构与强度、温度分布和气体分布。从模型中可以推导出详细的观测dynamical状态特征。模拟还显示，合并对磁场、X射线光度、金属浓度以及其他物理过程都有影响。此外，诸如质量确定等观测方法也可进行测试。
