作为宇宙中第四丰富的元素,碳在星际介质的演化和化学演化中起着重要作用。由于其通过sp^1、sp^2和sp^3杂化形成三种不同类型化学键的独特性质,碳可以稳定为多种同素异形体,包括无定形碳、石墨、金刚石、多环芳香烃、富勒烯、石墨烯和碳纳米管。
