我们对 GD 99 的新观测数据进行了分析。其不寻常的脉动行为（同时表现出长周期和短周期）已得到证实。所有可用周期显示出短周期模和长周期模的分组，且具有大致规则的间距。如果我们分别解释这些分组，其二元性可能是一种可能的解释，类似于 WD 2350-0054 和 G29-38 的情况。
