中子星瞬变现象的 quiescent 状态下的变率性

摘要
变率性研究是评估瞬变低质量 X 射线二元星系 quiescent 状态下发射机制的强大工具。我们报告了对两颗著名瞬变源 Aql X-1 和 Cen X-4 的 Chandra 和 XMM-Newton 观测。观察到长期和短期变率性。这一变率性容易通过一种活动的毫秒无线电脉冲星在其风与来自伴星的吸积物之间的冲击处发射 X 射线来解释。
