摘要
第二次 Gaia 数据发布（DR2）定于 2018 年 4 月。虽然 Gaia DR1 相较于 Hipparcos 星表将具有视差的恒星数量增加了 20 倍，Gaia DR2 将带来再增加 500 倍，为超过十亿颗恒星提供视差（与自行）。此外，Gaia DR2 将提供改进的天测与测光数据精度，包括 、、 星等、视向速度、变星与小行星的识别与表征，以及暗至 mag 恒星的恒星参数。本文代表 Gaia-DPAC 联盟各团队，在发布前 6 个月对 Gaia DR2 给出预告。
