多平面光转换器的传输特性全表征

摘要
多平面光转换允许对有限空间模式集执行任意变换，且在变换质量上无理论限制。尽管被整形的模式数量通常较小，但多平面光转换器（MPLC）传输的模式数量极大。在这项工作中，我们旨在表征多平面光转换器在设计模式子空间内以及首次在其外的传输特性。通过数值重建此类系统的传输矩阵，我们指出了评估其执行设计变换效率的新方法。此外，我们发展了一个解析随机矩阵模型，表明在大量整形模式的 regime 下，MPLC 表现得像具有有限数量受控通道的随机散射介质。
