探究夸克与胶子喷注子结构的基于分形的观测量

摘要
我们定义了新的喷注观测量,用以表征喷注中强子分布的分形贡献与标度依赖贡献。这些红外安全的观测量被称为扩展分形观测量,已被应用于夸克-胶子判别以展示其潜在效用。发现EFOs各自具有判别能力,且与现有判别器中使用的变量仅有弱相关性。因此,包含它们能提升判别器性能,正如本文通过部分子簇射的粒子级模拟所证明的那样。
