高能弹性电子-质子散射中的形状因子与双光子交换

摘要

我们给出了动量转移 (Q2^2) 高达 15.75~\gevsq 的弹性电子-质子散射截面的新精密测量。结合现有数据,这些结果改进了高 Q2^2 下质子磁形状因子的提取,并将可进行截面纵/横分离的范围扩大了一倍。我们的结果与极化数据之间的差异,与在较低 Q2^2 下观测到并归因于硬双光子交换(TPE)效应的差异一致,将确立差异的 Q2^2 范围扩展到 8~(GeV/c)2^2,置信度 >>95\%。我们利用该差异量化了解释高 Q2^2 截面所需的 TPE 贡献大小。
