ILMT发现超新星的后续观测策略

摘要

4米国际液体镜面望远镜(ILMT)设施每夜以固定指向天顶方向的方式连续扫描同一天空条带(宽约22′)。通过在连续夜晚图像上实施最优图像相减技术,每年有可能探测到数百颗超新星(SNe)。利用ARIES望远镜(1.3米DFOT和3.6米DOT),在确保的机会目标模式下计划对ILMT探测到的SNe进行及时监测。DOT设施的光谱观测将有助于SNe的分类与详细研究。在ILMT调试阶段,在ILMT视场中发现了超新星(SN)2023af。该SN进一步由ILMT和DOT设施进行了监测。给出了基于SN 2023af光变曲线和光谱特征的初步结果。
