调制机械多胞束中的时间折射与反射:理论与物理观察

摘要

时界面上的波反射与折射遵循与空间界面上常规散射不同的守恒定律。本研究在基于机械多胞束的连续介质中,实验演示了横波跨越时边界的折射和反射,揭示了通过针对声学应用调制时散射现象所呈现的机会。我们观察到在单个时界面上的频率转换和相位共轭现象。这些结果与时界面时 Snell 定律和 Fresnel 方程一致。进一步地,我们展示了通过多阶时界面对横波时折射和反射的�幅和频率谱的操控。最后,通过实现波阻抗的光滑时间变化,我们在数值和实验上演示了时多胞束实现波形变形和信息编码的能力。我们的发现为 developing time mechanical metamaterials 和 time phononic crystals 提立了基础,为在波幅和频率上的高级声子操控提供了新途径。
