在最近的一封信中，Buhot提出硬芯二元混合物中熵驱动的相分离直接与键渗流转变相关。然而，至少对于二元硬球混合物，基于对g_{ll}(r)的精确近似所进行的计算表明，n_b在由模拟直接计算的相边界沿线变化很大，这意味着键渗流与这些系统中的相分离无关。
