$K_L \to \pi^0 \gamma$ 衰变的首次搜寻

摘要

我们报告了利用 J-PARC KOTO 实验 2016 至 2018 年数据对 KLπ0γK_L \to \pi^0 \gamma 衰变的首次搜寻,该衰变因洛伦兹不变性而被禁止。在单事例灵敏度为 (7.1±0.3stat.±1.6syst.)×108(7.1\pm 0.3_{\rm stat.} \pm 1.6_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-8} 的情况下,在信号区域内未观测到候选事例。在 90% 置信水平下,分支比的上限被设定为 1.7×1071.7\times 10^{-7}
