味改变中性流衰变D^0 -> gamma gamma的首次搜索

摘要
利用CLEO探测器在Upsilon(4S)处或略低于该处收集的13.8 fb^{-1}数据,我们报告了味改变中性流过程D^{0} -> γγ的搜索结果。我们未观察到该衰变模式的显著信号,并确定了分支比的上限(90%置信水平):Br(D^{0}->γγ)/Br(D^{0}->π^{0}π^{0}) < 0.033和Br(D^{0}->γγ) < 2.9 × 10^{-5}。
