赫歇尔/HIFI观测火星一氧化碳的初步结果

我们报告了对赫歇尔/HIFI在2010年4月11日至16日期间进行的火星大气一氧化碳(CO)观测的初步分析。我们选择了同位素CO在771 GHz和CO在768 GHz的(7-6)转动跃迁,以反演温度的平均垂直廓线和一氧化碳的平均体积混合比。导出的温度廓线与大气环流模型(GCM)预测在高达45公里高度范围内吻合良好(差异小于5 K),但在60公里高度处显示出约12-15 K的较低值。CO混合比确定为980 ± 150 ppm,与2009年11月赫歇尔/SPIRE观测得出的900 ppm一致。
