B^0→ψ(2S)π^0衰变的首次观测

摘要

我们报告基于Belle探测器在KEKB非对称能量e+ee^+e^-对撞机上收集的772×106772\times10^{6} BBˉB\bar{B}对的全Υ(4S)\Upsilon(4S)数据集,对B0ψ(2S)π0B^0\rightarrow\psi(2S)\pi^0分支分数的测量。我们得到B(B0ψ(2S)π0)=(1.17±0.17(stat)±0.08(syst))×105B(B^0\rightarrow\psi(2S)\pi^0) = (1.17\pm0.17\text{(stat)}\pm0.08\text{(syst)})\times10^{-5}。结果具有7.2标准偏差的显著性,并且是衰变B0ψ(2S)π0B^0\rightarrow\psi(2S)\pi^0的首次观测。
