氘子永久电偶极矩的首次实验限

摘要
永久电偶极矩(EDM)为探测标准模型之外的物理提供了敏感的探针,与额外的CP违背源直接相关,这些源可能解释宇宙中物质-反物质不对称性。存储环中带电粒子的EDM测量依赖于检测不变自旋轴相对于环面small的倾斜。在本工作中,我们呈现了确定COoler SYnchrotron(COSY)中氘子自旋轴的实验测量结果,这是一种常规磁存储环,采用射频Wien滤波器、超导Siberian蛇和电子冷却磁筒的组合。测量结果显示几毫弧度的倾斜,这些倾斜受系统误差主导。从观察到的倾斜,我们推导出氘子EDM的首次实验限,。本结果表明了使用存储环搜索带电稳定强子EDM的可行性,并为未来的专用设施奠定了基础。
