我们首次报道了期待已久的、在银盘中能量介于 100 TeV 与 1 PeV 之间的弥漫伽马射线的探测。特别地,所有高于 398 TeV 的伽马射线均在已知 TeV 伽马射线源之外被观测到,并与强子发射情景的预期相符——在该情景中,伽马射线源自银河系内质子与星际介质相互作用产生的 衰变。这是宇宙线在我们银河系中被加速至超越 PeV 能量并遍布银盘的强有力证据。
