摘要
在报告 HD5980 系统检测到 X 射线的之后，我们在此通过获得的额外 XMM-Newton 观测来评估这种高能辐射的来源。这项研究提供了首次检测到来自碰撞风产生的热气体 X 射线辐射，这发生在银河系之外的演化巨型双星系统中。它还提供了对 Luminous Blue Variable 仅几年后其喷发后的 X 射线监控，表明 X 射线的主要来源并非来自喷流物。
