银河系外乙醇醛的首次探测

摘要

乙醇醛是单糖中最简单的一种,与生命起源直接相关。我们报告了通过IRAM PdBI在1.4、2.1和2.9 mm处的观测,在热分子核G31.41+0.31方向探测到乙醇醛(CH2OHCHO)。CH2OHCHO发射来自最接近(< 10^4 AU)(原)恒星的最热(> 300 K)和最致密(>2E8 cm^-3)区域。将数据与热核的气-粒化学模型进行比较,表明G31.41+0.31的年龄为几乘10^5 yr。我们还表明,只需在颗粒上处理少量CO,现有的热核气-粒化学模型即可重现观测到的乙醇醛柱密度,这使得表面反应成为其形成最可行的途径。
