摘要
GERmanium Detector Array(GERDA)实验搜寻了 Ge 的违反轻子数守恒的无中微子双β()衰变,其发现将在宇宙学与粒子物理中具有深远影响。通过在主动液氩屏蔽中运行富集 Ge 的裸锗二极管,GERDA 在信号区实现了前所未有的低本底指数 counts/(keVkgyr),并达到了在无本底 regime 下累积 100 kgyr 曝照量的设计目标。与 Phase I 结果合并后,在 127.2 kgyr 总曝照量下未观测到信号。在 90% 置信水平下,对 Ge 中 衰变半衰期的限制设为 yr,与假设无信号的灵敏度一致。
