三角晶格伊辛磁体中的场调控量子效应

摘要
我们报道了三角晶格量子伊辛磁体 TmMgGaO4 在纵向磁场中的热力学与中子散射测量。我们的实验揭示了由量子涨落诱导的准平台态。该态表现出磁有序与激发能隙对磁场和温度的非单调依赖关系。在量子涨落被大幅抑制的高场区,我们观测到一种无序态,其具有相干的类磁子激发,尽管自旋激发强度被抑制。通过细致的半经典计算,我们能够从量子涨落与受阻挫的伊辛相互作用之间的微妙竞争中定量理解这些行为。
