FELIX：LHC 全覆盖探测器

摘要
FELIX合作组提出在LHC上构建一个全覆盖探测器，该探测器将位于交叉区4（Intersection Region 4），并与LHC同步启用。FELIX的首要任务是QCD研究，以提供对强相互作用过程的一系列广泛而决定性的观察。本文综述了探测器概念和性能特征、物理菜单以及将FELIX集成到施件晶体管和物理环境中的计划。讨论了FELIX《意向书》（Letter of Intent）的当前状态。
