下一代室女座星系团巡天中的暗弱矮星系

下一代室女座星系团巡天(NGVS)是一项CFHT大型计划，利用MegaCam相机的宽视场能力，从星系团核心到维里半径对整个室女座星系团进行成像。观测策略已针对探测星系团中极低表面亮度结构（包括星系团内恒星流和暗弱矮椭球星系）进行了优化。我们在此介绍这项正在进行中的巡天的当前状态，重点介绍NGVS所揭示的星系团中极低质量星系的探测和分析。
