朝向银河系中心区域的河外源

摘要
我们观测了朝向银河系中心区域（, ）的 64 个小角径源样本，旨在研究银河系中心 (GC) 区域附近的法拉第旋转量。所有源均使用 ATCA 和 VLA 在 6 厘米和 3.6 厘米波长下进行观测。推断其中 59 个源为河外源。此处提供的观测构成了对该方向背景源射电偏振特性的首次系统研究，并将该天区已知河外射电源的数量增加了近一个数量级。基于形态、谱指数以及缺乏偏振辐射的特征，我们在样本中识别出四个银河系 HII 区。
