河外H2及其与CO的可变关系

摘要
基于20个（河）外星系测量样本，提出并讨论了一种陡峭的CO-to-H2转换因子X的金属丰度依赖性，其形式为log X = 12.2 - 2.5 log[O]/[H]。从毫米波干涉仪观测中发现的看似较缓的依赖性，在光子主导区域的背景下得到了解释。
