Chamaeleon I 分子云的消光图：基于 DENIS 星计数

本文首次利用来自南天深近红外测绘计划（DENIS）提供的大规模 J 波段星计数，绘制了 Chamaeleon I 分子云的消光图。我们采用自适应网格方法并应用小波分解，从该云中心周围面积为 1.5×3 度的区域内的 J 星计数中推导出 2 弧分钟分辨率的消光图。将我们的消光图与红外测绘（IRAS）100 微米红外辐射的冷成分进行比较，发现几乎完美的吻合。这表明 J 星计数在 Schmidt 板片上当 Av > 4 时优于光学计数。
