探索 MAXI J1744-294:IXPE 对新发现 X 射线瞬态源的洞察

摘要

我们报告对黑洞候选对象 MAXI J1744-294 的首次 IXPE 光谱极化观测,这是一颗在 2025 年巨大的 X 射线突发事件中发现的银河中心区域的瞬态 X 射线源。在约 150 ks 的观测期间,源处于软状态,其光谱良好地由吸收的多颜色盘和微弱的高能尾部描述。未检测到显著极化,我们推导出在 2--8 keV 能量带的极化度 3σ\sigma 上限为 1.3%1.3\%。该结果与在低至中等倾角角度下观察到的软状态黑洞二极星以前的发现一致。通过将极化度上限与标准吸积盘发射的理论预测进行比较,我们将盘倾角约束在 i38i \lesssim 38^\circ--7171^\circ 之间,这取决于黑洞自转和盘大气散射系数。
