利用 CHEOPS 任务计时能力观测温木星行星

我们呈现了用 CHaracterising ExOPlanet Satellite(CHEOPS)观测的七颗已知温木星(warm-Jupiter)的 17 条凌星光变曲线。这些光变曲线收集自 CHEOPS 保证时间观测(GTO)计划,该计划搜寻由可能的外部扰动天体引起的温木星凌星时刻变化(TTV),以阐明此类行星系统的演化路径。我们描述了从规划到数据分析的 CHEOPS 观测过程。本工作中我们聚焦于 CHEOPS 的计时性能、凌星相位采样的影响,以及将多次凌星合并所能获得的改进。对于样本中亮度最高的目标(WASP-38,G = 9.2),我们达到了约 13–16 秒的最高凌星时刻精度。通过对 G >= 11 的较暗目标多次凌星合并分析,我们获得了约 2 分钟的计时精度。利用 CHEOPS 的额外观测覆盖更长的时间基线,将进一步改善凌星时刻精度,并使我们能够探测由外部扰动天体引起的可能 TTV 信号。
