大质量镜像光子的实验特征

摘要

关于可能存在第二个光子的猜测由来已久,该光子仅通过规范动能混合与普通物质耦合。如果奇异光子无质量,则动能混合的主要唯象效应是赋予镜像粒子微小电荷(迷你带电粒子)。我们研究了奇异光子有质量的可能性。在这种情况下,镜像光子的实验特征与无质量奇异光子情形截然不同。在此情景下,不会产生迷你带电费米子,而是可能直接产生镜像光子的过程,例如类康普顿散射:e+γe+γme+\gamma \rightarrow e + \gamma^m(其中 e,γ,γme, \gamma, \gamma^m 分别表示电子、光子和镜像光子)。
