ExoClock 项目 II:基于 180 个更新系外行星星历的大规模集成研究

ExoClock 项目是一个包容、集成且交互的平台,旨在监测 Ariel 目标的星历以提高任务效率。该项目充分利用所有可用资源,即来自地面望远镜的观测、文献中的中天时刻值,以及空间仪器的观测。目前,ExoClock 网络包含 280 名参与者,其望远镜能够观测当前已知 Ariel 候选目标的 85\%。本工作包含截至 2020 年 12 月 31 日从 ExoClock 网络获得的 \sim1600 次观测的结果。这些数据与从文献收集的 \sim2350 个中天时刻值结合,用于更新 180 颗行星的星历。分析表明,40\% 的更新星历将对未来排程产生影响,因为它们要么精度显著提升,要么揭示了旧星历中的偏差。借助新观测,样本中半数行星的观测覆盖度与频率已翻倍或更多。最后,从总体角度看,我们识别出旧星历与新星历在 2028 年预测上的差异之 STD 是高斯不确定性所预期值的两倍。这些发现对未来观测规划具有启示意义,我们需考虑可能大于预测不确定性的漂移。更新后的星历向更广泛的系外行星学界开放,可从我们的开放科学框架(OSF)仓库及网站获取。
