我们展示了如何基于哈勃太空望远镜WFPC2观测，在中等红移集群 (z ~ 0.55) 中恢复形态光度分布。我们假设，对局部、低红移和中等红移集群中形态光度分布进行详细调查，可能为富集团中星系演化模式提供强有力的约束。初步结果表明，在集群中，正如在场中所见，非常强的演化正在发生 (即自 z = 0.55来看，dm = 2.5 mag) 在后期类型螺旋和不规则星系中。
