B^0→ηπ^0衰变的证据

摘要

我们报告了对无粲强子衰变 B0ηπ0B^0\to\eta \pi^0 的搜索,数据样本对应积分亮度 694 fb1\rm fb^{-1} 包含 753×106753\times10^6 BBˉB\bar{B} 对。数据由运行在 KEKB e+ee^+e^- 对撞机上的 Υ(4S)\Upsilon(4S) 共振处的 Belle 实验收集。我们测量分支比 B(B0ηπ0)=(4.11.50.7+1.7+0.5)×107\mathcal{B}(B^0\to\eta\pi^0)=(4.1^{+1.7+0.5}_{-1.5-0.7})\times 10^{-7},其中第一个不确定性为统计误差,第二个为系统误差。我们的测量给出在 90\% 置信水平下 B(B0ηπ0)<6.5×107\mathcal{B}(B^0\to\eta\pi^0)<6.5\times 10^{-7} 的上限。该信号具有 3.03.0 标准偏差的显著性,并构成了此衰变模式的首次证据。
