LHC 上四顶夸克产生的证据

摘要
标准模型预言四顶夸克产生的截面约为 12 fb。CMS 合作组基于 2016 至 2018 年 Run 2 期间收集的 13 TeV 数据，考虑包含零到四个电子或μ子的事件特征，给出了这一稀有产生机制的新结果。这是首次在四顶夸克研究中探究全强子道，其得以实现得益于基于机器学习的新型数据驱动本底估计技术。
