Type Ib/c SN 1999ex 爆炸中的心脏坍缩证据

我们报告了对 SN 1999ex 的光学和红外光谱，揭示了一个清晰的中间类型 Ib/c 案例。这表明 Type Ib 与 Type Ic 超新星之间存在连续的光谱序列。我们报告了从爆炸后第 1 天开始的 UBVRIz 光度观测，这使我们得以目睹持续 4 天的尚未被人注意的暂性冷却阶段。初始冷却随后由放射性加热驱动，导致光度曲线出现一个谷，这与包含经历心脏坍缩的演化巨质氦星爆炸模型相符，而与来自紧致白矿星热核燃烧跌落的光度曲线不符。
