Globular 星团Palomar 6的红外光度测量

我们对Palomar 6进行JHK光度测量。我们的光度测量范围覆盖从RGB顶端到RHB下2个幅度，CMD显示Palomar 6似乎拥有明确的RHB群体。通过将Palomar 6 RHB星的星 magnitudes 与47 Tuc的星 magnitudes 和颜色进行比较，估算了该星团的距离模和星际 reddening。我们得到(m-M)_0 = 14.28 mag和E(B-V) = 1.30 mag。我们的研究表明，Palomar 6明显位于银河的中心区域。我们还讨论了该星团的金属丰度，通过RGB的斜率得到[Fe/H] = -1.2。我们的金属度估计比其他人之前的估计低0.5-1.0个dex。
