我们使用 NRQCD 预测在 Tevatron 生产 η_c 的横截面。所需的非扰动矩阵元通过重子对称性从 CDF J/ψ 数据中得到。因此，我们的数值是 NRQCD 的预测，提供了对其非常好的检验。即使考虑到 η_c 进入两个光子的小分支比率，仍然期望在 Tevatron 能产生这种共振态。
