摘要
红移调查紧凑星系群(RSCGs)是从CfA2+SSRS2红移调查中选取的N >= 3的紧凑星系群。选择标准仅基于物理尺度和红移空间中的关联。我们对14个RSCGs周围1 h^{-1} Mpc范围内较暗星系测得300个新的红移，以探讨RSCGs与其环境之间的关系。13个14个RSCGs均嵌入红移空间的密集区域。该系统范围从由5个成员组成的松散星系群到阿贝星系。剩余的星系群RSCG 64看起来是孤立的。RSCGs在其周围环境中是孤立且独立的，程度各异，Hickson紧凑星系亦是如此。在13个嵌入的RSCGs中，有3个与其一般环境区分开来（RSCG 9、RSCG 11和RSCG 85）。
