摘要
我们表明，预测宇宙弦形成的F项暴胀的参数空间比以前估计的要大。首先，因为GUT理论中的现实嵌入改变了标准情景，使得暴胀势不那么陡峭。其次，暴胀结束时形成的弦不一定在低能标下拓扑稳定。在移位和平滑暴胀中，弦根本不会形成。我们还讨论了D项暴胀；在这里，扩大参数空间的可能性要有限得多。
