研究了狭缝阵列的水平共振。它们可以导致无法用单模近似解释的增强透射。当狭缝很窄且波长非常接近周期时，发现了一种新型的腔共振。它可以在非常低的厚度下被激发。优化表明这些结构可以构成有趣的单色滤波器。
