我们利用埃费尔斯贝格的100米望远镜，在21厘米中性氢谱线辐射中研究了11个致密高速云(CHVCs)。我们发现，大多数CHVCs并非球对称，这与我们预期中非相互作用的星系际云团的情况不符。相反，许多CHVCs显示出复杂的形态，表明它们受到了与周围介质的冲压相互作用的扰动。因此，CHVCs很可能位于银河系附近，而非散布在整个本星系群中。
