摘要
本文主要考虑单次高空核爆对美国电网的潜在影响。将 EMP 与闪电等自然现象进行比较。本文得出结论：EMP 对电网的危害不及其自然对应物。由第一性原理导出了极快、高幅值 EMP 电场的上限。所得值显著低于通常给出的值。附加计算表明核爆产生的电离严重衰减 EMP。
